Animoto

Animoto is an interesting classroom tool.  It can make a regular slide show presentation more dynamic and engaging.  It can be an interesting way to share curriculum with students, as well as creating media to share with parents.  Animoto can even be used for younger students because audio can be added to any block within your presentation. This tool could also be useful for presenting information at a staff meeting. One thing I look for when deciding which platform to use when creating content for my classroom is the amount of time it takes to create something vs. the amount of time it will be used.  Although the final product looks great, there are products I find more helpful when creating video for my first grade classroom.
